Maybe a stupid question but,
We know your real family name is Silverman, but how do you introduce yourself to people who don't know you (not on television but in the real life) ? Do you say; Hi, I'm Mia Silvas or Hi, I'm Mia Silverman? 
And what do you think about the 2 names?

To any musicians or people I meet through the music, I will normally use my professional name, but anyone else, I use the real thing!
I like both names, so don't mind either way what people use, but in music circles, it will always be Silvas (I prefer to keep my family name out of it!)
