*only for Star Trek geeks*
Hi Mia! I know Jean-Luc Picard is one of your fav characters of Star Trek. I like ST also very much, in fact I've got all those dvd boxes. I was just wondering if you have a fav episode, or do you prefer a ST serie particularly. I kinda like those "alternate reality" and Romulan episodes of ST:TNG and ST DS9.
My favorite episodes are:
1. Face of the Enemy, TNG. Deanna Troi (my fav character of TNG) is transformered as a Tal Shiar operative.
2. The Pegasus, TNG. Cmd. Riker's former captain comes to the Enterprise to salvages an Federation ship with an illegal cloaking device. Where lies Riker's loyalty and integrity?
3. Yesterday's Enterprise TNG. In an alternate universe is Tasha Yar still alive and where Enterprise-D encounters Enterprise-C coming from the past.
4. Improbable Cause/The Die is Cast, DS9. A joint venture of Tal Shiar/Obsidian Order to attack the Dominion.
5. Unification part 1 +2, TNG. Spock is on Romulus :O!!
Actually there are so many good episodes, I could easily make a top 50 episodes. (And I haven't started the Borg yet!) _________________

oh my gosh Wai... I think you just may be a bigger geek than me if that's at all possible.
ST TNG is def my favourite although I did get into Voyager! (Not so much with DS9 until the whole Dominion thingy!)
I don't even remember the names of the episodes so can't be too specific, but there was one TNG episode where the Enterprise got caught in some sort of time anomoly where they kept colliding with another federation ship, blowing up, and it all started again... the crew kept getting deja vu and they finally realised that something was going on, and that they kept making the same mistake and blowing themselves up, so they programmed Data with how to make it right! Turns out the other ship had been caught in there for a couple of hundred years... that's a shame! Do you remember that one? Absolute genius!!!!
I love it!
I watched ST Insurrection the other night... I love it.... but prefer First Contact!
Anyway... geekiness over and to bed with me to rinse my 24 dvd collection! haha

Thanks for your response, Mia. Yes, that episode is Cause and Effect. The Enterprise was stuck in a temporal causality loop (sorry for knowing that ) That episode is also brilliant! And with Kelsey Grammer (Frazier!) as the captain of the ship from the past. "This is Captain Morgan Bateson of the U.S.S. Bozeman. How can I be of your assistance?"
You're right about First Contact: the best ST movie of 'm all!
I gotta stop now, otherwise you might think I have my home decorated as the bridge of the Defiant _________________

Your life is astoundingly incomplete.
Personally I prefer the original series with Jim bonking his way round the Galaxy
You can't beat The Trouble with Tribbles or Spectre of the Gun.

Although I am a big Shatner fan... I'm afraid I'm still more than a little partial to Jean-Luc... he's fit!
