Regal Room gig rescheduled!
Hi guys,
Just to let you know that I have rescheduled my gig at The Regal Room and will now be playing there on Wednesday 21 March along with my good friend Richard Lobb.
As always, it will be a great night, and is FREE to get in.
Hope to see you there if not before!
Love, Mia x |

thank you, I missed that completely. I knew he was scheduled to play at the original date next week and assumed he would just still do that - I think he is still playing then, along with Bailey, as James is planning to go.
Ah well that's a nice bonus as I haven't seen a set from Mr Lobb since last year at the Bedford.
For those that know her Mrs Dud has confirmed she will accompany me to the Lucie acoustic set in Birmingham on Monday, so we will see all the mob from the forums that are going then.

here is tonights gig review. If you thought about coming but didn't, you may not wish to read any more.
As you know the Regal Room is one of the better venues for music in London, like the Bedford in Balham. It's very good acoustically and the sound guy seems to know what he's doing, which is not always the case at other venues.
Guitar accompaniment was by Jon Green from the Sweat Band (sry if the spelling is wrong, it's late) rather than Ben Mark, who obviously got a night off
Mia was up first:
A Lot like me
Flower Girl
Turn Around
There were then other sets, all of which were brilliant too, not least from Richard Lobb and the Sweat Band. Sorry I cant do a track list - I don't know his songs well enough yet and didn't have pen and paper to hand.
Mia's second set after the break:
Miss Communication
More Fool Me
Trouble All the Way
Richard's second set was as all round entertaining as the first but was finished off with an amazing rendition of Rita, which rocked the house. He was joined on stage by Lucie and Laura (yes I'm sorry to break it to you) who provided great backing vocals and left everyone wanting more....but it was not to be. What a great way to finish.
I can only hope you watched it on the webcast.
Anyway some promising news for Lucie fans from my short discussion with her during this evening - Lucie said they are working on dates/locations for the UK tour to commence after the Lionel Ritchie gigs at which she is providing the support. Good things come to those who wait!
This was the first Mia event I have ridden the motorbike to, I don't like to ride in London as the drivers are nutters (no offence Mia!) It was -4C on the way home, and I don't know what that becomes at 70mph on the way home but I am glad I don't live so far out now! Brrr!
So next Mia event, the Bullet Bar on the 4th. I'll be there, who else is going? She looked lovely tonight, I'll try to upload a photo at the weekend.

Thank you so much for the review!!!
At least it was inside nice and warm. Richard can rock the place alot with Rita. It stays my favorite song of him!
So Lucie and Laura are into the Sweat Band as well. How low key, how pure!
I am happy to see, that Lucie is backing Mia so much, when Mia is the star. _________________
