I've put a clip of video online at
http://www.orbitfiles.com/download/id2098442279.html
Can someone let me know that it downloads and plays successfully.
Sorry to cut it off part way through - size matters, as all the women in my life tell me.

Tricia Mac follow up:
Having seen and been very impressed by Mia's songwriting colleague Tricia McTeague at the Regal Room last week, I decided to venture out last night and see her sing again at The Backyard in Bethnal Green.
It was an "original songwriters" night
http://www.myspace.com/theoriginalsongwriters
so there were a variety of artists there from light folk to medium rock. Unfortunately everyone before Tricia was plagued by appalling sound problems, with poor Arthur
www.arthurtheband.com
suffering the most with some loud feedback almost drowning out their instruments through most of one of their songs. The onsite sound engineer didn't seem that bothered and things didn't look good for Tricia and Ste.
After the interval the compere did one number then introduced Tricia. For some reason the sound gods smiled on her and the acoustics held together for all three of her numbers
Can you love someone too much?
Beautiful Pain
Thicker Than Blood
which those of us at/watching the Regal Room gig would have heard. A well chosen set as the three tunes showcase her talents nicely in a short space of time and also demonstrate that Ste can play guitar really well despite what he was telling me beforehand (reckons he's just a bass...)
The sound demons returned to strike on the next performer.
The good news is that Tricia and Ste were telling me that they have relocated south for a while to just outside London. This means that there is a strong chance we will see a lot more of her - I'd not seen her before last week as she seemed to be doing the northern circuit (bit less of the working mens clubs for a while eh? )
In summary an artist I would highly recommend and I venture to say she'll see me in the audience in the future.

Some photos. I have the same problem with Tricia that I have with Mia; she sings with her eyes shut. I can't criticise, it's down to emotion within the songs and singing them and would probably do the same myself, but it makes a decent photo quite hard to get. Damn I'll have to have another go another time!

Wonderful pics, Dud... Indeed, Tricia is one to watch out for in 2008, she is sooo good. _________________

Cracking pics Dud - Tricia is a hidden gem. I know she's planning a CD soon and can't wait to get my hands on it. _________________
