You don't have to answer this if you'd like to keep it to yourself, but I was wondering what On the outside is about?

I was just listening to it and then I kinda had to think about Lucie.. that maybe you don't really want to be a backing singer, you don't want to be on the outside, but you want to go and make your own music.. but it's very hard because you don't want to let her down.. It's like it's an answer to "The same side", it's so beautiful.

Maybe I'm completely wrong but I was just wondering It's such a beautiful song xx

Do you know what... and this may sound sorta cryptic, but I guess you can take anything you want from it. It can mean lots of different things. I'm just glad that you've taken the time to listen to the lyrics and that it touches you in some way. That's how it was meant. All my songs do come from personal experience or experiences of those around me, but I think we can all relate to the feelings.
I think whatever you think it's about, is what it's about, no matter what it is. Everyone will have a different interpretation.
