Very random... I am the short cut kid... so whatever is the quickest is what I use. I use WIRELESS!! yay!

Do any of you know quite how much dial-up ACTUALLY PAINS ME! 48 minutes! 48 bloody minutes to connect and post! WHAT!

But Natty it was so..well..me! Laughing

I asked one tonight if she took me for some kind of FOOL! I then went onto shout at her about listening to the same 4 songs on repeat for 45 minutes and how my patience was actually really wearing thin by some posessed sounding AOL woman telling me she appreciates my co-operation every chuffing 5 minutes!

*breathes*

The objective for todays lesson is..don't ever use dial-up.

All follow Mia's example and get wireless! Shocked

Ooohhh poor Sam...
They always let you wait so much when you call providers.
I got cable, but that ain't perfect either. And wireless ain't working here yet.
But I am sooo beyond dial-up for like 5 years now.

At the moment I have neither. Sad

No phone lines in the new house and no internet access either.
The man is scheduled to come on Friday afternoon (!) and install two phones, cable TV and 10Mb broadband.
I have this sinking feeling that he will announce he needs something else doing by a different engineer and that he will come back in the New Year and finish it....
Christmas without TV or the internet doesn't sound good. Anyone got a spare room with wireless broadband on standby?

well to be fair the guy turned up at the suggested time and took 90mins to set up everything. In my enormous haste to get online to read the forums and listen to those three new tracks I did something in the wrong order and blew up my PC - big time. PSU and motherboard seem fried. A reasonable excuse for a complete upgrade I think. Twisted Evil

In the meantime my forum access is intermittent. Sad
