Mia Silvas
I’m Just A Lot Like Me…
I was born in Surrey to a Scottish mum and a Kiwi dad and spent my first year on this earth in the beautiful Seychelle Islands in the Indian Ocean. Of course I don’t remember much, but I’m told that I used to sing during mealtimes to the staff at the hotel where my dad worked… so I guess you can say I started young!
I grew up between here and New Zealand surrounded by music - mainly Lucie singing constantly around the house and encouraging my sister Nikki and myself to join in her musical performances for special guests! I played the piano and flute from early on and later in life developed my skills as a percussionist and generally shaking my thang, as those who have seen me perform will no doubt testify!
As a session singer/ percussionist I have performed live with a number of different artists including my sister Lucie Silvas, Judie Tzuke, Beulah, Delrosario (now Mama’s Gun), Lazy Habits, and more recently Karen Louise.
I just started writing my own music fairly recently, and I am glad that am now able to share my music with you all.
As I said in the beginning, “I’m Just A Lot Like Me”, and I hope that by listening to my music you will discover who that really is! I know I’m still trying to find out! |
They made all the words 'she' into 'I' _________________

From what I can see these performances are in shops on Carnaby Street and are earlier in the day (I think this one is at 3pm) - so yes Paul, you can certainly go.
Unfortunately by the same token I can't; I'll be at work

^^^ I take it Ruthie got her job then?
Sadly I won't be able to make this gig either, as I am otherwise engaged sitting a maths paper. Luckily for me I only need 15% to pass so shouldn't be too hard. _________________
