The IndigO2, Millenium Dome, London,

Bit of a long way off but forward planning is always good. I think I'm in the uk then, but only just... So see nearer the time! _________________

Paul
This is where Lucie is performing but on a different date. The T&Cs say you can come along - under 14s must be accompanied and under 21s will be asked to prove they are over 18 if they want to buy alcohol. So providing you stick to coke (a cola!) you'll be fine.

Why does the thing on seetickets for Lucie have massive 18 signs when you try and purchase tickets? If that just an automatic thing the site puts on because it's a bar venue rather than a gig venue setting?
Weird but good, thanks for clearing this all up Dud! I think it will be there for both Lucie and Mia because I don't have anything on those day or so it seems. _________________

given Natalie's comment about maybe that means the arena and not the bar, it might be best to phone them up first and check, but certainly the T&Cs online are clear enough to me so another approach would be to take a printed copy with you and argue it at the door |

I'm on the Indig02 website but I still see -
Quote: | NO CHILDREN under the age of 18 years will be admitted to indigO2. |
Can you provide us a link Dud as to where it says otherwise? _________________

http://www.theo2.co.uk/web/guest/termsandconditions
says
Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all events.
The standing area is not suitable for under 16’s
Those statements imply to me that under 18s are allowed in.
However, you're right the Indigo site says the opposite! I guess we will have to phone up!
EDIT - I have emailed them and requested whether or not I can take in my 17 year old friends with me. I'll let you know...

I think that would be for the 02 arena rather than Indig02. It's probably over different licensing laws and such. _________________

Nothing heard back so far but the ticket booking site for the Lucie date is now displaying an "over 18s only" banner that I don't recall being there before.
So it looks like its bad news I'm afraid.

^^^ It's been sorted, it's all fine it seems. Paul's friend rang up and under 18s with an adult is fine apparently.
And that banner has been there all along. _________________

Justin Timberlake is playing that night so i would book your hotels soon otherwise its going to be mad!
When he was staying at the lowry earlier this month/end of April there were crowds outside the doors from about 8.30 (i only know this because the station that i get off for work is just opposite and i start work at 9ish so anytime i was on the train i would have to walk over the bridge near the lowry to get there and there were mostly mad female fans there...... )
Nat/Sam/Dud/Paul are you likely to be staying in a Hotel/B&B in July? or getting the train back the same night? |

I'll be staying over somewhere with Sam and whoever else crashes with us I would guess. No way am I getting train back the same night it wouldn't work out as the Lucie gig finished at 11pm. _________________

Thats what i found when i looked for trains for the 29th The last train from Euston to Manchester was 23.40 took something like 8 hours and had two changes, and wouldn't get me into Picadilly til 10 to nine the next morning which was extremely stupid as i start work at nine so if its late.
The other prob is that if i caught an earlier train it wouldn't get me into picadilly early enough to catch the last train that goes towards home. And i feel guilty asking my dad to pick me up (again!) |

I guess you'll have to weigh up your options then by the sounds of things!
can you not take the morning off work and travel back then in time for an afternoon shift? _________________

I got a letter about 'college induction day' and it's dated September 4th *gets in grump*. Now being my good self, I really don't want anymore knowledge.
But then again I don't have a job right now still (damn they're hard to come by!) so my only other option is to spend my time studying and gaining (or trying to gain...) an A level in PE. How useful. _________________
