Gigs are always better than college. But college is more important. _________________

Son of Dud reckons he will be there too but being a no good layabout student he is notoriously unreliable.
See you there James.

All the best for today Mia hope you all have a fabulous day and I hope your weather isn't like ours it's blowing a gale and tipping it down with rain but it won't stop me going to the motor racing... |

The weather was wonderful, sunshine and a light breeze. Kids everywhere having fun and Mia looking the way Mia does when she'd borrowed a hat off someone.
Pics below. I did video the tracks but probably won't have time to upload them and post a link for a few days as I am out of the country for a while. I will be back for Yellow Umbrella though!
Mia was performing with of hers, I think she said his name was James Fox. (I have corrected this following Mia's posting below)
Mia directing traffic on Kensington Park Road, probably around 3.25pm
A sound check may be necessary but an image check is not! Doesn't she look fabulous?
Technical problems, the wires need adjusting and Mia can't see the audience
She "borrowed" the hat off the drummer of Jay's band. It now has a traffic light growing out of it.
After the set, James is clearly relieved and I'm pulling my usual silly face whilst standing with Mia
Mia starts to give James instructions on how to strike The Pose, "You lift your arm thus.....look at the camera, not at me"
"That's better but you've put your arm down"
"Yay, success"
But of course James outcools them both by posing with guitar and phone in the background.
Son of Dud aka Eddie, finally escapes from his student digs and makes it to a Mia performance (and he walked there too)
Dud
PS Just checked the videos, they are really good, it helps when you're shooting in daylight for a change. Sorry I cant post them tonight but I have to be up at 4am to get a flight. Setlist was A Lot Like Me, Taking a Chance, Miss Communication, Trouble All the Way

Yes I was on the bike, and will be next weekend at Yellow Umbrella, unless its snowing.
You are right, Chris looks just like I did when I was his age. Let's all hope he doesn't inherit my fine figure by the time he gets to my age!

There's nothing wrong with your figure MrDud
I don't think it'll be snowing next week so you can come on your bike Is that a picture of Malaysia on your shirt? _________________

Hey hey... thanks for the review and pics Paul!
Was a fun day out. Beautiful weather. raising money for a good cause... what more could you want.
I even tried some of the food on offer at one of the stalls... amazing!
The guitarist was a good friend of mine James Fox.
Ryan will be joining me for my 2 week tour in Holland but he wasn't there in Notting Hill!
See you all at Umbrella Day.
