It's a joke - saying that they were getting married as his visa was about to expire (Ryan is from Wales, which is another country but as part of Great Britain he does not really need a visa)
Of course I could be wrong....!

Like I've always said taxes are cheaper in Wales and we get free prescriptions (good for some of us...), Mia would be smart to marry a Welshman.
But yeah anyways no marriage on the card, think of the hats we'd have to buy.
